Driven by a desire to create a viable alternative to the gas-guzzling SUV segment, Toyota has built the 2016 RAV4 Hybrid, the newest member of the legendary RAV4 lineup.
Will this latest entry stack up to the lofty precedent set by its predecessor? Well, for the answer to that, we'd like to now turn it over to Autotrader personality, Brian Moody. He offers his review of the RAV4 Hybrid in the clip below:
No doubt its marquee event, the powertrain of the RAV4 Hybrid sure is something else. Teaming a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with pair of electric motors and a battery pack, the crossover churns out an impressive 194 horsepower.
What's more, it also boasts what's bound to be some of the best fuel economy figures in its class, as its EPA-estimated rating weighs in at 33 mpg combined (34 city/31 highway).
